Tracked visitors' privacy

beencounter values the privacy of tracked visitors.

Once the beencounter code is installed successfully on a website ("website A") we will collect the following data:

• Which of the sites listed by website A owner you have visited.
• Your data is summed with other visitor's data. No specific data is kept on you.
• No other data is collected by us.

beencounter is not responsible for the privacy policies and content of web sites that are being studied, nor for web sites that use our service.

Our tracking is based on browser cookies. A cookie (also called tracking cookie, browser cookie, and HTTP cookie) is a small piece of text stored on a user's computer by a web browser. None of our cookies include personal information.

We do not track usage of sensitive sites, such as banks, for example. We review site tracking requests and sites are added to our tracked sites blacklist regularly.
